On 30th December 2000 (Saturday), the club organised a Barbecue session for our trainees, seniors, as well as some school staff members.

Through this event, the club hoped to achieve to following aims:-
· To promote the unity among the trainees Maris Stella Taekwondo Club.
· To create a bondage between trainees, instructors and the club through an informal gathering session.
· To allow members to have an awareness of the club's history and achievements.
· To create a facility for reunion of ex-marists who were members of the club.

The following were our schedule for the day:-
4.00pm : Committee members will gather to set up and prepare facilities and equipment for use later.
6.30pm : Members and invited guests are to assemble in the Hall for presentation and speech.
6.45pm : Presentation and speech.
7.00pm : Barbecue will begin at the basketball courts and BBQ pit area.
9.30pm : End of barbecue. Invited guests take their leave. Taekwondo club members are to stay back to clear up the area.
10.30pm : All trainees to leave the school
