Four members from the Singapore Taekwondo Federation went on a training stint to South
Korea from 19-23 March 1999. The special training course was held at Kukkiwon, the centre of taekwondo in the world.
It was conducted by Lee Kyu Hyun, Chairman, Education Committee, Kukkiwon. The four were Chin Khee Shin, Steven
Soh, Lim Teong Chin and R A Jeyaraman. The training covered patterns, sparring techniques and self-defence techniques. The four trainees also leamt new and more effective ways of executing various skills. Mr Kim Ho Jae, Dean of the World Taekwondo Academy, supervised the training. |
