FAR, the squad is doing well." So said Ms Park Hyun Sook, the Korean
coach in charge of the national squad as well as the development squad.
"All of them are good and I'm generally pleased," she added. The 20 members train in two- hour sessions, three times a week. On 8 February 1998, some of the squad members will be selected to represent Singapore in the 13th Asian Taekwondo Championships in Vietnam from 15-17 May 1998. But Ms Park said that despite this, if there are still gold and silver medal winners from the National Championships out there, then they are invited to train with the development squad. So all those interested, please get in touch with the STF. |
